Your Growth.

Your Goals.

Your Raise.

At Stevens Great, we believe every single person on our team deserves to know exactly where they stand, exactly what they're working toward, and exactly how to get there. Our review system is built around one idea: no surprises, only progress.

Annual Reviews

We made meaningful changes to our review system in 2026, replacing outdated metrics with ones that reflect what you actually do every day. Stylist Performance Scorecards reflect a transparent 100-point system that determines your raise. Every category is clear, every point is earned, and every stylist knows the path. Stylists can earn up to a 3% raise each year.

Attendance reliability is worth 25 points on the Stylist Scorecard, one of the highest-weighted categories. That's intentional. When our team shows up consistently, customers are served better, fellow stylists aren't stretched thin, and everyone earns more.

We know life happens. That's exactly why the ESST exists, and absences covered through ESST do not count against your score. We want you to use those resources when you need them. What we're focused on together is building a culture of reliability and communication.

Annual reviews happen in January for the full year (January–December). Your manager will do a Mid Year check-in around July so you know exactly where you stand and what to focus on for the second half of the year. No surprises, ever.

Monthly One to One Tracker

Your personal coaching record. You fill it in, your manager reviews it, and together you build a picture of your progress all year long.

This is your coaching foundation. Every week, you fill in your own numbers before your One to One meeting. Your manager reviews them with you, you talk through your progress, and they sign off. By the time your annual review arrives, you'll already know exactly where you stand.

Suggested Courses for Growth and Development

Growth is a core part of the Stevens Great experience—because getting better every day is what sets our teams apart. As part of our Annual Review process, team members complete qualifying growth and development sessions designed to sharpen skills, build confidence, and stay on trend. These include GCU one-to-one coaching sessions, foundational haircut refreshers, trend technique walkthroughs, and product recommendation training. Additional opportunities like Leadership in Training participation, recruiting efforts, and community outreach can also count toward growth goals. It’s all about investing in yourself, strengthening your craft, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
