Picture a big pot that every member puts money into each month. When somebody in the community has a medical bill, it gets paid out of the pot. Then everybody fills the put up at the start of next month. Instead of sending premiums to an insurance company, you are pooling money with a community and sharing each others medical costs.

No networks, any doctor or clinic or specialist you want to see is available. In Network and Out of Network do not exist. The monthly cost is much lower than a traditional premium. You pick the amount you pay before sharing starts, as low as $1250 per medical need. That is per need, not per year, and no household pays it more than 3 times in a rolling 12 months. That means it doesn’t reset in January, you have a full 12 months to take advantage of your out of pocket cost resetting. When you visit a doctor you simply tell them you are a cash patient or they will bill you accordingly-often with a significant discount for being a cash patient.
